"The cliche of the exotic Latin woman"
The other direction of my work investigates different aspects of the cliché of the "exotic" Latin woman. The investigation takes place through actions that explore sensuality and romance. It retains a personal aspect by the use of elements related to Colombian traditions that I grew up with and my questions about my identity as a Latin woman. "Through my work I create ironic and comical links between two cultures. Communication and sounds, feminine and identity, protection and adaptation become part of my investigation".
